LATIN SATIN is all that its name implies: it is Prado at his smoothest. The songs are
old favorites and the arrangements are without a doubt the greatest that Prado has
ever done.

The selections are ones that we all know and love - they are the Latin-American
standards which the American people have taken into their hearts and adopted as
their own. But the inimitable "Prez" interprets these standards in a way that has
never been done before. Without altering the melodic structure of the music, Prado
imparts to it all the originality and vitality of his arranging genius. The result is
exciting listening - and dancing, if you're inclined, for all the tunes are done in the
present trend of cha-cha-cha.

This album was made in Hollywood after many months of preparation. However,
once plans were settled and the arranging was started, it was a very simple task
for the great "Prez."
